Phi Beta Chi
Club Description: Phi Beta Chi is Ferguson's Science Honor Club. This club is comprised of 11th and 12th grade students that are interested in the sciences and like to promote higher science learning & scholarship. The students must go through a one-year trial period to become full members during their senior year of high school. The activities of the club focus on working with students on projects that beautify the school as well as the environment. Students have worked on glass tile mosaics last school year that have a symbolic scientific meaning. We also work to promote science in the community through field activities, such as Ferguson's Halloween Fright Night. Phi Beta Chi has also created a tutoring program for students needing help in their science classes. This takes place on Mondays after school in room 332. Phi Beta Chi wants to make sure that the community and all of Ferguson realizes how important Science is in our daily lives!
